Connecting an AI assistant to OptionKrafter
You can let an AI assistant run backtests on your account and read the results back to you. This page explains what that permission covers, what it costs, and how to end it.
What connecting does
Once you connect, an assistant can ask OptionKrafter to run a backtest and read the result back to you in chat. It runs on your own account against real historical option chains on All US tickers — the same engine the website uses, nothing separate and nothing simulated differently.
What an app can and cannot do
- Read your strategies and past runs
- Start a backtest, when you allow it
- Read the result of that backtest
- Place a real trade
- See a payment method
- Change your plan
- Delete anything
What it costs you
A backtest started by an assistant counts against the same monthly allowance as one started on the site. Nothing else about connecting costs anything, and connecting does not require a paid plan.
Disconnecting
Open Agent Hub in the sidebar and choose Revoke. Access stops immediately — the next request the app makes is refused. Strategies and runs it created stay in your account; revoking removes the access, not the work.
Getting started
Add the connector in your assistant's settings with this URL:

- Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the URL above.
- Cursor: Add to Cursor — one click, then sign in when Cursor asks.
- Grok Bot: Settings → Add MCP Server → paste the URL above, then sign in when it asks. (Or pick OptionKrafter from the Marketplace once it is listed.)
- Any other MCP client: add a remote server with the URL above; it uses standard OAuth, no API key.
