Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 21, 2026

Last Updated: September 15, 2026

In short: We collect the information needed to run your OptionKrafter account — your sign-in details, the strategies and settings you create, your subscription status, and technical usage data. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We do not sell your personal information, and because OptionKrafter never connects to a brokerage, we never hold your brokerage credentials or real trading data.

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy describes how SynapseSkytech LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("SynapseSkytech," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the OptionKrafter web application and related services (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms of Use, available at optionkrafter.com/terms.

2. Information We Collect

### 2.1 Information you provide

Account information. Name, email address, and a username. You may sign in with a password or through Google sign-in; if you use Google, we receive basic profile information (such as your name and email) from Google in accordance with your Google settings.

Preferences. Timezone, theme, and daily-brief preferences you set in Settings.

Content you create. Strategies, backtest runs and their results, saved screeners, watchlist tickers, P/L Visualizer positions, Krafter Bot configurations and their simulated activity, and any plain-English descriptions you type into AI-assisted features.

Communications. Messages you send through Help & Feedback (which are delivered to us by email, with replies going to your account email), and any other correspondence with us.

### 2.2 Payment information

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your full payment card details are provided directly to Stripe and are not stored on our servers. We receive and store limited billing information from Stripe, such as your subscription tier, payment status, and partial card details (for example, card brand and last four digits) needed to manage your subscription. Stripe's handling of your information is described in Stripe's own privacy policy.

### 2.3 Information collected automatically

Usage data. Feature usage and quota consumption (for example, backtests run this month, active bots, saved screeners) needed to operate plan limits and usage meters.

Log and device data. IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and timestamps, collected through server logs and similar technologies.

Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may break sign-in.

Product analytics. We use PostHog, a product-analytics service, to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. When analytics is active, PostHog sets a first-party identifier on your device and records usage events (such as pages viewed and features used) and session recordings in which everything you type is masked. When you are signed in, analytics is associated with your numeric account ID and subscription plan only — never your name or email address. We do not use analytics for ad personalization. See Section 7 for how to opt out.

How you found us. On our public pages and the sign-in page, a small first-party script stores in your browser how you arrived: campaign tags in the address (such as utm parameters and ad click identifiers), the referring site, the page you landed on, and the time. Nothing is sent anywhere at that point. If you then create an account, those fields and a derived channel label (for example "organic search", "referral", or the name of an AI assistant that linked to us) are attached to your sign-up event in product analytics and to your analytics profile, so we can learn which channels bring people to OptionKrafter. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is stored (see Section 7).

Advertising measurement. If we run advertising campaigns, we may use Google Ads conversion measurement, which tells Google that a sign-up occurred after one of our ads was clicked. It is loaded only while such a campaign is active, sends no name or email address, has ad-personalization signals turned off, and is disabled by the same privacy signals as product analytics. We do not otherwise share analytics data with ad networks.

### 2.4 What we do not collect

The Service does not connect to brokerage accounts, so we never collect brokerage credentials, real positions, or real trading history. All trading activity within the Service is simulated. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

3. How We Use Information

To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including running backtests, bots, screeners, and the daily brief for your watchlist.

To manage your account, subscription, billing, and plan limits.

To process AI-assisted features — the text you type is used to parse a strategy or screener for your review.

To respond to your questions, problems, and ideas submitted through Help & Feedback.

To send service communications, such as account, billing, and material-change notices, and the daily brief if you have it enabled.

To secure the Service, prevent abuse (including evasion of plan limits), and debug problems.

To understand aggregate usage and improve the Service.

To comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Service providers that help us run the Service — such as cloud hosting and infrastructure, Stripe for payments, email delivery, market-data providers (which receive requests needed to serve data, not your profile), PostHog for product analytics (as described in Section 2.3), Google for advertising conversion measurement (only while we run Google Ads campaigns, as described in Section 2.3), and any AI-processing providers used for plain-English parsing — each bound to use the information only to provide services to us.

Legal and safety recipients, when we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of users, the public, or SynapseSkytech.

A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your information until updated.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Content you delete (such as a strategy or screener) is removed from your account, though residual copies may persist briefly in backups. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal, billing, or security purposes.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and enable appropriate protections on any Google account you use to sign in.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Access and update. You can view and update your profile, preferences, and content in the app at any time.

Daily brief and emails. You can adjust daily-brief preferences in Settings. Service and billing notices are sent as needed to operate your account.

Deletion. You may delete your content or your account. Contact us through Help & Feedback if you need assistance.

Analytics opt-out. We honor browser privacy signals automatically: if your browser sends Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track, product analytics is disabled for you — no identifier is set, no events or recordings are collected, no "how you found us" record is stored, and no advertising conversion tag is loaded. You can also request exclusion or deletion of your analytics data by emailing [email protected].

Regional rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information — such as rights to access, correct, delete, or port it, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us as described below; we will respond as required by applicable law.

8. Children

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States (and in the locations of our service providers), which may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice in the app or by email before they take effect. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.

11. Contact

Privacy questions or requests can be sent through Help & Feedback in the app, by email to [email protected], or by mail to SynapseSkytech LLC, c/o ZenBusiness Inc. (Registered Agent), 5511 Parkcrest Drive, Suite 103, Austin, TX 78731, United States.
